Table Bases
Stone or glass table tops are best
supported by a stone base. They have an artistic base and pillar with
a flattened smooth top on which the table top is fixed. It can be of
limestone, marble, granite or sandstone and can be done in enormous
styles and finishes.
They may have a broad base with sculptured sides, they can be simple
carved columns. They may resemble some Roman or Greek sculptures or
have Indian traditional look. The artistic dexterity of the table
bases is unmatched
Stone table bases suit any indoor or outdoor setting. They are used
as dining table bases, coffee or center table bases or garden table
bases. A stone top can be cemented on the base but a glass top is
fixed using appropriate adhesive or vacuum holders.
